Reinforcing And Mesh Solutions Group (“RMS Group”)

The RMS GROUP comprises of a number of operations which are strategically located within South Africa to service the construction and civil engineering industries with reinforcing products. The products include reinforcing bar, reinforcing couplers, welded mesh fabric and post-tensioning systems which are all utilized in reinforced concrete structures.

Reinforcing bar is generally cut and bent in our factories or yards and then delivered to sites where we then offer a further service of installing the reinforcing bars into the clients’ concrete forms. To further enhance our service, we offer the facility to establish yards on clients’ construction sites provided the off-take is sufficient to cover the establishment costs.

The group’s main operation, located in Johannesburg, operates as a division of CAS whilst all the other operations around the country are subsidiary companies of CAS.
Welded mesh fabric is manufactured to SANS 9001 specifications and within an accredited ISO 9000 quality system at Johannesburg premises.
